Xi'an China Resources CCBD model
A twin-tower commercial complex model that blends contemporary retail architecture with traditional motifs, lit to emphasise dynamic facade transitions.
The CCBD model is a large-format sand table for a central business district: two glass towers rising from a podium of retail, hotel and office blocks. The facades shift from vertical fins at the base to smooth curtain wall at the crown, and the model had to show that transition clearly at 1:200 viewing distance.
We CNC-engraved the fin patterns in acrylic, colour-matched the stone podium to physical samples, and built the lighting so that the tower tops, podium retail and street landscape can be switched independently during sales presentations.
